A good choice

This is my first kit so I can't really compare to others but I can provide my honest rookie opinion.
I wish I had more information on the kit myself before buying so here they are for you : the 2 gear diff were full of oil and I did not expected that, although I don't know its viscosity ; it comes without rims and tires so not as the pictures ; shock oil 400cst included ; it comes with a motor gear 39 teeth if I remember correctly.
About the assembly itself the manual was delivered with a separate sheet with corrections on few pages - not the best to follow during initial assembly or just to keep in time but at least it is there. Overall it is easy to follow with clear views and having each of the plastic bags marked was very helpful to quickly find the right screws. One difficulty I had was to put in place the screws holding the engine without much access because of the rear right suspension arm.
Then, one tuning I did was on the rear diff housing : I cut a very small bit of plastic to avoid a tiny contact on the metal fixation of the spur gear. I saw that on an online assembly movie and I found I had to do the same for a good fit.
In the end I could assemble everything nicely. I just had a quick first run down my apartment (Covid...) and it was great. Behaviour was good and the car easy to control. It is quite silent with its plastic gears.
Overall I am very happy to have a shaft driven chassis, mounted with hex screws, with a geometry that can be tuned and for a reasonable price !
